I just made a third batch of pieces with it and they’re all sticky. I’m going to try spraying them with a new clear sealant I bought and see if that will save them but this is really upsetting. It was a $30 box and I can’t use it. I’m going to try one more time, mixing well longer than required and see what happens but I don’t want to risk loosing any of my molds.

I’ll be able to make my last two custom mustache necklace samples and then put them up for sale in the shop~

I also need to buy new E6000 because mine randomly decided to burst out the side of the tube tonight >.< Thankfully I can just pick it up at Wal Mart and I need to swing by to buy food and bedding for my hamster.

Now I just need to raid my dad’s tools for a proper sized drill bit for the dremel and practice on some older resin pieces. So no more glued to the back pendant bails! Everything will be done with the more secure screw eye pins~

Also my new order of alphabet beads is working it’s way through customs now so hopefully I can start doing custom name mustache necklaces soon. I’m also hoping to get a few more mustache molds since mine is starting to distort a bit from over use.

First is an ice cream cone with a hollow dripping shape center on the ice cream part, second is a dripping heart, third is a shooting star, fourth is two hollow hearts with two small bows (earrings!), and fifth is of two small moons and stars.

I can’t wait to get them and start making new stuff! I need to go hunt down some more pastel pigments too. For now though I need to stop buying until I sell some stuff or I’ll go broke lol~

I need to start posting more regularly! I have a ton of new items up in the store right now including a bunch of cute cupcake pendants and rings.

I’ve also gotten a ton of new pigment powders that I’ve been experimenting with. I’ve figured out how to get them solid and I think I’m going to try mixing them with glitter next.

In other news I ended up with a bad batch of resin ;A; I must have poured just a tiny bit less of the hardener than the resin. Thankfully I’ve been able to save most of the castings. I lost a two bows and a candy piece but everything else seems salvageable. 

I’ve coated the small pieces with triple thick, I just have to do their backs and they’ll be good. The fronts have dried and are completely sealed now. With my large heart pendants I had enough space left in the mold to pour on a thin layer of clear resin and I’ll go over the sides with triple thick if they need it. I really want to save them because there’s four and I think they all look really great, I had fun experimenting with glitter and sprinkles in them.

I have one with three little bird stickers, one with a teddy bear, one with a Jetoy cat sticker (I’m a huge Jetoy fan, expect to see their stickers in a ton of stuff!) and a butterfly sticker, and lastly one with a pink kitty and cupcake stickers. I can’t wait to get them out tomorrow and show them off~
